How to Fix Editorify Connection Issues Caused by Cloudflare

If Cloudflare's Attack Mode is enabled on your WordPress site, it can block API connections and prevent Editorify from connecting to your site. You'll need to temporarily disable Attack Mode (or switch it to LOW mode) to establish the connection.

How to Resolve This:

1. Access Cloudflare Settings

  • Log into your Cloudflare account

  • Select your website domain

  • Navigate to the "Security" section

2. Disable Attack Mode

  • Find the "Security Level" or "Attack Mode" setting

  • Change the setting from "Under Attack" to "Low" or "Off"

  • Wait 5-10 minutes for the changes to take effect

3. Whitelist Editorify's IP Address

  • Add Editorify's server IP (198.199.86.121) to your allowlist

  • This ensures stable connection with Editorify's services

4. Try Connecting Again

  • Return to your WordPress admin panel

  • Attempt to connect Editorify

  • The connection should now work properly

Technical Notes

  • Attack Mode is designed to protect against DDoS attacks but can interfere with legitimate API connections

  • Cloudflare changes can take several minutes to propagate

  • Consider whitelisting Editorify's IP address (198.199.86.121) in your Cloudflare settings for a more permanent solution
